'He Pushed Me Face Down.' Second Woman Accuses Gossip Girl Star Ed Westwick of Rape
From TIME - November 9, 2017

A second woman in one week has come forward to accuse former Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick of raping her, a claim which Westwick denied Thursday.

Aurlie Wynn, who describes herself on social media as an actor and a model, alleged that Westwick pushed her face down and tore her one-piece bathing suit three years ago after she said she rejected his sexual advances. I was in complete shock, Wynn said in a Facebook post, adding that she felt powerless under his weight.

Wynn said the incident occurred in July 2014 after she and Westwick hung out until 5 a.m. with two other friends in a large house Westwick had rented. Wynn said the sexual assault happened when they had all decided to go to sleep. I said no and he pushed me face down, she wrote.

In a statement on Twitter, Westwick said Wynns allegations were provably untrue and that he was cooperating with authorities.

Wynn said she is speaking up now after actor Kristina Cohen came forward Monday with a similar accusation, which the Associated Press reports the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating. Westwick denied Cohens allegations Tuesday in a brief statement he issued on Twitter. I do not know this woman. I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape, he wrote.

On Thursday, he addressed both claims in a new statement. It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct, Westwick said. I have absolutely not, and I am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible.
